System Crashes Opening Word Documents

Very odd, I have a system that crashes and restarts
anytime a word document is opened. V-scan found nothing.
Deleted and recreated normal.dot. Uninstalled and
reinstalled office 2000 pro. No luck. Any ideas, thanks.
