system crashes when cutting and pasteing between word & outlook

Help Im new to using the internet and would appreciate some help. Im useing
XP Professional with SP2 and Office 2003 with SP2 both of which are auto
updated daily. When I try to cut and paste from Outlook to Word or Internet
Explorer to Word my system crashes and reboots.

I get no error message my PC just shuts down and then restarts
