When accepting time through PWA 2003, some of our users are getting project
server spooler errors with message type of Publish New and Changed
Assignments, error of SYSTEM ERROR (0x80004005). At the time this occurred
this morning, there were very few users on the system.
There are no local resources in the plan. We've set the inactive resources
workgroup to none, removed the windows authentication ID, and republished the
assignments as the inactive resources were causing other spooler issues. The
event viewer logs on the client machine that received this error has nothing
logged. The event viewer logs on the server doesn't show this error logged.
We have gone through and made sure all active resources have valid email
addresses.
In one of the forums, it mentioned a corrupt plan. On the plan that
received the error today, we re-imported it to the project server a couple of
weeks ago. There is another plan that receives this error at least once a
week that has not been re-imported.
Is there other information sent between PWA and Project Pro that we should
look at and validate? Any other ideas on how to troubleshoot or fix this?
Thank you,
Lizzie Beth
