Trisha,
As you probably know, the System.mdw file is the
default file that is installed with Access on a
computer. If noone has created security accounts in
connection with the System.mdw file (Access database
security accounts) than you may be able to just copy the
system.mdw from another computer onto the one that is
having the problem. Another thing that may be wrong is
that someone may have created a security group in
connection with the system.mdw file, and may have the
application (Access database) opened in an "Exclusive"
way, which would cause other users not to be able to open
the same Access file that the security group was built
for.
This is just some general information that may help.
