System not support the language of the Office installation... (Windows 98)

Hi guys, I got my Office XP and I want to install it in a
Windows 98 based laptop. When I try to install, it tells
me:
"This language of this installation package is not
supported by your system".

The laptop language is English and the Office CD is in
Spanish, Anyone knows how to trick out the installation?
or the make it accept the language of the laptop?
