Systems hangs upon clicking Font drop down box

Dear Friends,

I'm experiencing a peculier problem in Excel - 2000.
Upon clicking the Font selection drop down list , system
hangs and I need to shutdown the system to bring it up.

This problem happens always and I've experienced this
problem in 2-3 installations on different systems.

Please help me out with solution.
