I then import from the usb stick into outlook on my desktop
I then look for my contacts/address book but it has not imported

Using 2007 with imap

Martin,
1. COPY/PASTE *.CSV File to Desktop of 2nd PC.
You cannot import contents of the file from removable media.

2. Right-Click *.CSV File> Properties> Uncheck Read-Only Attribute.
When copied to removable media, file gets changed to "Read-Only" in most
cases.

3. Follow procedure to Import *.CSV file into MS Outlook Address Book in
Help.

Hi
I didn't see your post until yesterday
Everything goes fine until the final stage of importing the .csv file
into outlook on my desktop.

The import window shows the import start and gets to about 20% then
it appears to finish & closes

When I look at my contacts folder ther are no entries

I have done this many times withe the same result
