Tab and Tables

O

Oasiskatz

Every time I hit tab it creates a table. I have tried the Ctrl+Z that alows
you to stop auto-formating but I can not use the tab if I have already typed
something on the line. If I am on a fresh line it will allow me to hit tab.
Can someone help???

That behavior is by design. The Tab key will have two different intended
outcomes depending on the situation:

If you are on a new line, Tab will indent to create another level to your
outline.
If you have already started typing, Tab will begin to create a table. In
this scenario it is assumes that you are at the desired outline level.

BTW, Ctrl-Z is the general "Undo" command found in most programs, and is
not intended to stop autoformatting.
