Tab Control weirdness

I have a tab control and when I select the second tab, the focus goes
to the first combo box on the form and the scroll bar moves, hiding
the tabs. I have not coded this event and I don't want it to happen.
When I choose tab 1, this doesn't happen. There is no code or macro
firing when the tabs are selected. Can anyone tell me how to keep the
tabs visible no matter which tab I select?
