tab control

I would like to know the kind of tab control used similar to the applications
like Microsoft outlook(control present on the left side of the work area) or
the tool box present on the left side of the Microsoft .net IDE. Is the same
control available in VB-6? If so how do i use it.

I think you mean a TreeView control. The Microsoft Common Controls includes
a Treeview control if I remember correctly, and I believe there are several
commercial versions availoable. A google search for TreeView should turn up
more information.
