Tab Control

Can anyone please tell me why the tab control is white? Not just the tab
itself but, the entire control. If I create a subform and place it on a
tabbed control the form retains its original or default "tan" color and the
portion around it is white. This was not a problem with Access XP but since
using Access 2003 it has been tormenting me. I have tried to uninstall and
reinstall, including using the Office 2003 resource kit's uninstall tool.
Can someone plese shed some light on this situation. Your comments will be
greatly appreciated.

Microsoft tried to make Office 2003 prettier.
They called it "Themed controls."
It messes up the display of tab controls with a transparent background,
check boxes that are Null, and so on.

Fortunately, they gave you the option to turn it off under:
Tools | Options | Forms/Reports

Dear Allen:
Thank you for your help. I am rather embarresed that I was unable to solve
this on my own as I have been using access for quite some time. I do lose
the better looking command buttons, but I am willing to make the sacrifice.
I have been to your site before and have learned many things from you in the
past. I greatly appreciate your expertise and help with this problem.

Many thanks,
Barry
