Tab delimited text to columns?

I have a text file with <TAB>s in between sections of the text that I
would like put into different Excel columns.

When I open the text file in Excel it simply places all text into
arbritrary columns. How can I get it to place it into columns based on
where the <TAB>s lie within the text?

Hi Richard,

Select the column with the data then from the Data menu choose Text to
Columns.
