It's not entirely clear whether the above statement is a question or
not, but if it is: You can certainly base your TOC 1 and 2 styles on TOC
3, but this seems a bit strange. And anyway, if the TOC settings are
different to begin with, it wouldn't help much.
That said, why don't you just set the tabs and indents of these two
styles to the desired values? Did you try and fail? Description?
