I created a form in an Access Data Project using the form
creation wizard. Upon creation, I selected all fields in
one SQL Server table to be added to the form. I was able
to manipulate the tab order manually by entering a number
in the Tab Index property or by clicking the three dots
(...) that appear when the cursor is placed in the Tab
Index property and arranging the fields in the dialog
that appears.
When I added new fields to the SQL Server table, and then
added them manually to the form, these aren't reflected
in the form's tab order. The Tab Index of the newly added
fields can't be changed, and they don't appear in the
dialog box if I select an existing field and click the
three dots. However, when I select one of the new fields
and click the three dots in the Tab Index property, I see
a list of all the newly added fields in the dialog along
with three radio buttons to the left of the field list:
Form Header
Detail (selected)
Form Footer
How I can get all the fields on the form to share the
same tab order?
Thanks.
