Tab Order

Kelly

I am VERY new at working with forms. I am using Outlook
XP w/Exchange on a Windows 2K OS.

I have created a form with all of the fields I want. When
I test the form, the tabs are all over the place. I have
gone in to Layout, Tab Order and moved the fields in the
order I want, but when I test it again, same thing.
Tabbing is all over the place.

Any Advice?

Thank you,

Yes I did name them. But some of them do not show up in
the list. I am naming them by going to the properties of
the field and entering a name at the Display tab, name
field. Maybe that's the wrong place.

I've never had any problem getting Tab Order to work correctly. Did you
replace the default names of all controls with descriptive names so that you
can easily identify which control is which in the Tab order list?

That's the correct procedure. Don't forget that if you have controls in a
frame, you need to select the frame first, then set the tab order for all
the items in the frame.

I didn't know that. That worked. Thank you so much for
your time. I do appreciate it.

BTW, I did try using the Help feature and it wasn't very
helpful.
