Tab won't move to next level Word 2002

All of a sudden in my word 2002, my outlines won't move to
the next level with the tab key. The tab key has gone back
to its regular functionality. Any suggestions? I tried the
suggestion for 2000 and earlier under format, options,
edit, but that did not work.

I will appreciate any help I can get! I keep all my to do
lists in word!
