Tabbed documents in Word like sheets in Excel (a way or an addon app?)

Hi, is there a way to get word documents to appear as "tabs" (like say
in mozilla or excel) in word instead of multiple windows? I don't get
the impression that it can be done with just word but perhaps an add
on application for word? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
