Tabbed template

I often see nice tabbed top horizontal menu bars and left vertical menu
directories. I haven't found any templates that do exactly that. It is easy
to build the left vertical bars and horizontal bars but the tabbed look
confuses me.

Are there any available templates or explanation how to tab the top of the
page?

If by "the tabbed look" you mean drop-down menus, FP2003
is the first version of FrontPage that can create these
using only the GUI. For details, refer to:

Creating DHTML Menus in FrontPage 2003
http://www.interlacken.com/winnt/tips/tipshow.aspx?tip=28

If you mean buttons that look like file tabs, these are
just pictutes that you create and link like any other.
FP2003 has a new feature called Interactive Buttons that
can create these totally within FrontPage. For earlier
versions, you creat them in a picture editor, add them to
your Web site, and set up links in the usual way.
