My supervisor created a table and query that is attached
to a form. It is shared by other employees in our
department who can enter information into it at their
leisure. This table and query are attached to an excel
spreadsheet and within that spreadsheet we have worksheet
that acts as the template of information, for lack of a
better term. This spreadsheet refreshes itself every 60
secs in order to get information that is inputed into the
form in access by other users. That worksheet is then in
turn attached to other worksheets in the spreadsheet via
links that exist in the master template. I.E.... the
master worksheet gets information from the query every
minute and the attached spreadsheets then share that
information. The problem we are having is everytime we
open the access database the query resets the order of the
inputed information which in turn resets the order on the
worksheet with invalidates all the links we have attached
to their appropriate worksheets. If anybody has a
solution, and can follow my explanation, please let me
know.
