Table and Section styles

A great help would be to be able to define table or section styles which
would contain border, size, padding, backcolor, textcolor etc. and then apply
those styles to selected sections or tables.

Hi Mirronelli

1. Open the form in design mode
2. Right click on table or Section
3. View the context menu of the table /section

You have options to set the required properties. To set
a. borders and back color-select ‘Borders and Shading’
b. size ,padding- ‘Section Properties’
c. text color- select the control and from the Tool bar you can select the
style and font color

Hi,

Doing it this way is a one time thing. If you want to set this properties
again on another section you have to do it again and again repeating same
values for same settings. What I was suggesting was to create a style like in
word and then reapply this style to many sections and tables (paragraphs in
word) by just selecting a precreated style and applying it.

A style would be a collection of settings like border sizes, colors,
paddings etc.
From a css's standpoit it would be a class.

Hi
1. First create the required settings to a section/table.
2. Copy and paste the section/table
3. Now right click on section/table
4. Select the ‘Change Binding’ option and change the binding to the required
section/table in the data source

This is the way I normally do whenever I need to set same properties and
style to two or more section/table in a form
