Table and Text on Same Line

I don't want to beat my head against the wall trying to figure out how
to so something that can't be done.

When I first was learning Word, last summer, I seem to remember
reading someplace that you couldn't put text next to a table. In
other words, you couldn't have a table on the right side of a page and
some text on the left (maybe a section in the middle of the page with
2 columns which would be way too complicated).

Is this so?

TIA,

Andy

I think I stumbled across the answer to my question. Table Properties >
Text Wrap > Around.

I'll play with that and come back if it doesn't pan out.

That's where you would have been directed if you had mentioned the version
of Word in the first place.
