Table borders

The option to select a light and dark border color is not available (ghosted
out). They are both set to automatic. What can I do to make these options
functionable?

Light border/Dark border is not supported by all browsers. Check and adjust
your Browsers settings under Page Options | Authoring - I believe that
changing it to IE will fix it.
