I have spent countless hours today figuring out what is going on with MS Word. Here are the issues:
1. Table Breaks
I create a table with 4 columns and 20 rows. I apply to the first row table header repeat. In the second row I add text and apply Header 1 formatting (out of the box from normal.dot). In Print Layout the first page shows the repeating header row but all other rows are missing. The second row is shown on the second page with the repeating header row. I cannot find a way to delete the apparent page break.
2. Ever so often when I format text in the table cells my screen does not repaint properly, i.e., lines are missing in the table or text is missing. If I save the document the table shows up correctly. What is going?
Any help would be appreciated because I have never seen anything in any of the MS Windows version of Word.
