table breaks up

I am typing a long table (3 pages). The second page text keeps going on to
the first page text and so on...So that the text superimposed - only when I
print not on screen.
I have tried making a new table - no luck there either!

In the Table>Properties dialog, make sure that the Text Wrapping is set to
None.
