Table calulations Error Message

K

Karen M

Hi again,

I have asked a questions previousley about totalling
specific columns above and keep experincing the same error
message about the bookmark error. Here is what I have put
in the totaling box:

$90,000
$60,000
$40,000
$50,000
$80,000
$30,000 then I use the Ctrl and F9, the
symbol appears =sum(above) once I do that then, I clicked
on the auto sum symbol. The calculations are done, and the
=sum(above) appears and when I go to page preview I get
the error messsage =sum Error! Bookmark not defined. So,
how do I keep anything from showing up in the box other
than the Total ?

Thanks,

Karen M.

You don't need Ctrl+F9. Put the cursor in the cell under the $30,000 and
press the AutoSum symbol. If you press Alt+F9, all you should see in the
cell is { = SUM(ABOVE) }. Anything else is superfluous and it causing the
problem when the fields are updated by doing the print preview.
