I have several tables in my document that go over a page break. I've
set the header row(s) to repeat at the top of each row with no
problem. However, my client wants the actual table caption to repeat
at the top of each table, and he wants it to note that the table is a
continuation. In other words, if the caption reads, "Table 1. Cool
Info," on subsequent pages he wants it to read "Table 1. Cool Info
(Cont'd.)"
Is that possible? I presume I could just put the caption in a header
row and turn off the borders so it looks like just regular body text
and get the caption to repeat on each page that way, but how could I
add the "Cont'd." designation?
Thanks much!
