Table Captions on multi-page tables

Is there any way to make "-Continued" appear in the Table Caption on all
pages after the first page on a multi-page table? The only way I've managed
is to type it in the original caption, then put an opaque white box over it
on the first page... which means that the caption on the first page is not
centered correctly. Is there some code or variable or something that will do
the job right?

Unfortunately, despite repeated requests to MS for this feature, what you
describe is the only known way to accomplish this.
