Table cell, doesn't think it's part of the table

I have a wierd problem, we have templates with tables
that I cut and paste text into, sometimes, users with
Word 97 cannot open and read these documents.

I've narrowed it down to a specific line in the table,
when I click on that line, the column indicators and row
indicators (don't know what to call them) on the top and
side ruler dissapear, as if that text is outside of the
table.

If I isolated the contents of the cell to the one
offending line, I cannot tab into that cell, it just tabs
around it.

Any thoughts?

Hi, Tom,

It's possible that the information stored in the end-of-cell marker in that
cell is corrupted.
