Most likely the table has become wrapped, and Word 2000 doesn't support
breaking wrapped tables across pages. Go to Table Properties | Table and set
wrapping to None instead of Around, and the table will flow to the next
page.

I have had the same problem. My settings were
already 'None'. It is an 18 page document - a
questionnaire. It is fine up to page 5, and gets 3/4 of
the way down the page before starting the next number (on
the next page), which gets half way down before doing the
same thing.

I've tried everything I can think of, turned off/on text
wrapping, turned off/on 'allow row to break across pages',
split the table (which fixed one of them - I did have 3
breaks) and just can't get the table to 'join up'!!

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks

If the table appears joined in Normal view and you can select an entire
column, top to bottom, by clicking above it, then the table *is* one table.
Examine every paragraph in the misbehaving rows to make sure that none is
set to "Keep with next" or "Page break before."

If the table behaves like more than one table, make sure that there are no
intervening paragraphs (display nonprinting characters to make these easier
to spot) and that all parts of the table have no text wrapping. If you're
tracking changes, you may need to Accept All Changes before the table will
finally join.
