Table - Does not display

Hello,

I have a strange problem that I hope someone can shed some light on. I am
using Office 2000 on a Windows 2000 platform. When I create a table in
Word by using the Table - Insert Table menu or the short cut button on the
toolbar, it is not displayed. When I scroll down the page and scroll up
again the table will appear. Very strange! I'm lost as to where to begin
to look for this solution.
Any help greatly appreciated.
