Table doesn't go onto next page.

Hi,
I have a word document with a table (not created by me), which I am a
trying to update. When I type in the table and get to the bottom of
the page, the text just disappears off the screen. I was expecting the
table to go onto the next page, but it doesn't.

Any ideas why? It's driving me mad

Set the "Text wrapping" to "None" in Table | Table Properties, Table
tab.

and make sure that the row heights aren't set to a specific height - Tables,
Table Properties, Row - deselect specific height
