Table/Font Modification

I have a user who has scanned a document and inserted it in Word as a table. Due to the size of the table, the user would like to shrink both the table and the text within it. The document is in landscape view. Currently the lowest font size listed is 8. Is there any way to lower it even further? The user ialso nformed me that he would like to add 2 new columns to the table. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You don't have to accept the sizes offered by Word's drop-down. You can type
in any point size from 1 to I-can't-remember, in half-point increments. Also
try --

Using a condensed typeface (eg Arial Narrow)
Reduce the cell padding (Table > Properties > Options)
Remove the borders and use shading or coloring to distinguish the rows and
columns
Think again about how you present the information. If you're having trouble
with it, then so will the reader.
