table/form question

Susan

I've found that while working with table rows, I can keep
a row from expanding by selecting "row height is exactly"
in row tab of the table properties dialog box. Is there a
way to keep the columns from expanding?

Ordinarily they won't expand provided you have "Automatically resize to fit
contents" disabled (Options... button on the Table tab of Table Properties).
You can't set an exact width, just a "preferred" one, but the width won't
change unless you explicitly change it by dragging the column borders. And
you can change the width of one or more columns without affecting others
depending on how you do it. For more, see
