Using Access2000, I am trying to format a text field to
align left. There does not seem to be possible. Is ther
a way to force right alignment in a text field?

Yes; use a Form (for onscreen) or Report (for printing), and display
the field in a textbox with the alignment you want. Table datasheets
are not designed for data presentation, but for design and debugging.
