I used a Word template for an invoice and on the screen, the table gridlines show, but when I print, they are gone. I can't figure out how to make them show up all the time.

Also, is there a place where I can find information about making changes to a template. I have found this very difficult today as I worked on this document. Thanks.

By design, table grid lines do not print. Instead, apply a Border using
Table> Borders & Shading or the Tables & Borders Toolbar or the Borders &
Shading section of the Formatting Palette. You can border/shade any or all
of the table as you wish.

Alternatively you can use Table> Table AutoFormat if you prefer. In a
template, though, I'd be more tempted to use the other methods.

In order to edit a template you must use File> Open & navigate to the
location where the template is stored. If you attempt to open it from a
Finder window you actually create a new document based on that template. I
can't provide anything more because you don't specify what it was that made
it "very difficult" to make changes. If you provide details pertaining to
the problem(s) there may be some other suggestions to offer.
