Table Headers

Robin

I am using Word XP and am trying to accomplish what Word
Perfect's "secondary page numbering" accomplished.

I have a table that is more than one page long. I have
put my caption in as the first row and have it set to
heading rows repeat. I want this row to have the
convention Page X of Y after the caption, but it does not
work. The Page X of Y becomes fixed on subsequent pages.
I know that in Word Perfect (and I think even an earlier
version of Word) had a "secondary page number" feature
where this would work. In lieu of the Page X of Y, I have
resorted to "Table 1. Title (x sheets)"

Is there a work-around for this? I can't put the table
caption in the header as I already have an existing header
for my document, plus the caption won't generate in the
TOC.

Thanks in advance for the help!
