Table Help

I want a table to start a new page, with my cursor in the first cell I

press Ctrl + Enter. The table starts on the next page but a carriage

return is also inserted. When I remove the return, the table goes back

to the previous page. What can I do?

Thanks.

Hi Rob,

Place the cursor somewhere on the first line of the first cell in the first
row of your table.
Go to Format > Paragraph > Line and Page breaks tab, check Page break
before.

I always use this (enven when not in a table), because I find that it is
much easier to work with then the manual page break, but that,s just me!

You and quite a lot of the rest of us <g>. Manual page breaks may not be the
root of all evil, but they do spawn a lot of problems.
