I have created a table on a page using FP2000 and got the layout exactly the
way I would like it. The table has some merged cell in some columns and some
cells merged in some rows. The cells are filled with data from a database. I
know each data element will fit adequately fit in each of the cells.
When I bring the (ASP) page up in IE the table layout is way out of design.
The first column (the first row has column 1 and 2 merged as a "header
label") takes up about 75% of the table width with the other column squeezed
down.
Is there a key to understanding the width parameter in the table and row
lines? I've gone back to FP and tried tweaking the layout slightly, I've
copied the table to another page to edit, etc. but continue to get the
undesired results.
Appreciate any help (or redirect to references).
Thanks
