Table Line Width

L

Lisa D.

Please help! I spend so much time clicking on Borders and Shading and then
changing the line width to 1-1/2 pts. Is there any way to make the 1-1/2 line
width my default line width instead of the 1/2 pt that is set up now???

Thanks,
Lisa

In any given Word session (or document) the selected width remains the
default until you change it. This applies to the Borders toolbar flyout
palette on the Formatting and Tables and Borders toolbars.

You can use a macro to change the line width. Via the link below, you will
find a macro that applies the same table borders to all tables in the active
document:

Note that in order to apply a line width of 1 1/2 pt, you need to change the
following code line in the macro:
oBorderWidth = wdLineWidth050pt
to
oBorderWidth = wdLineWidth150pt
