Table Lines -- Screen View -- Make Vanish

T

Todd

I have created a table. I have removed all lines &
borders from the table. Great. However, MS Word insists
on showing those "ghost" lines on the screen that
indicate that a table is there. They don't print which
is fine, but they show up on the screen which is not
necessary.

How do I make thise "ghost" lines disappear so that I
can get an accurate view of my document. I've tried
going to the "reading" view but that has its own
distortions and isn't particularly helpful.

Any help would be appreciated.

Go to the Table menu, select 'Hide Gridlines'. If you later change your
mind and want to see them again, go back to the Table menu, select 'Show
Gridlines'.

Chad
