Table Linking Design "Please Assist"

W

Wayne & Carr

Hello;

I would like to start off with by saying Hello to every.
I am new to the group, but not new to Access.
I have been using it, off an on for about 2 years now.
But recently it has become an everyday activity for
Me to open a web database in Access and start working on it.

OK... Down to the issue at hand.

I need to create a "ASP Links Page" And have successfully done
My first 100% ASP Driven Links page, but it is not working like it should.
And I Do not know that much about ASP to make it work correctly.

So I went diven into some old ASP scripts, and I found a "Menu" Example.
That shows how to make a Links Menu for your site.

The Database in this particular example, Is the key. It holds all the
secrets to the
Small Projects success.

The only problem, is that the e-mail address is dead, and there is no
information on
How the Access 2000 Database was made?? I have tried to figure it out,
But with no avail.

Please view the screenshot

And here is the Database for those that are interested in seeing it.

If someone could please let me know, Exactly how this is done,
So that I can do it in my own project, I just may be able to complete
My "Links Page" With only "2" Tables.
Right not I have a "Table" for every Category. (6-Tables)
And this is right aggravating, as you may know?

Please someone let me know how to do this, and if there is a web site
That explains this, that would be great as well.
As I am not sure what this procedure is called, There for it is hard to do a
search.

Thank you.

I figured this out, It is in Relationship.
I just had to view the Relationship Table. And then "Right Click"
On the table and choose [Show Direct] And it showed the 2 tables
Joining...

So I was then able to do some reading on Relationships, and at least
figure out
What I needed for the project that I am doing right now.

Take Care All
