Table Lock Assistance

Hi,

Does anyone know how to lock a table within a field(s)?
A customer has a form setup in a table format and needs
specific fields to be locked to prevent editing. I
attempted to insert a field inside the table and
highlighted the field and pressed CTRL + F11 and
nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any
assistance is appreciated. Thanks in advanced.
