Table not filling page correctly

C

Chris Noble

I have a document created by one of our users in Word
2000 and which is made up of tables. Some of the pages
are fine but on others the pages are only half filled.
No page breaks have been inserted or anything and on some
pages I can make the tables fill the page but on others I
can't.

At first I thought this was a problem with the specific
machine and reinstalled Office, which did not resolve the
problem, I have since opened the document on various
other machines and it looks the same. I am all out of
ideas so any help would be much appreciated.

This is usually caused by settings on the Line and Page Breaks tab of Format
| Paragraph. Inspect the paragraphs in the row(s) that are breaking to the
next table and make sure that none of them are formatted as "Page break
before" or "Keep with next."
