Table of Authorities page numbers are incorrect

F

Fred Nicholson

I am writing a legal document. The first four pages are numbered
i,ii,iii,iv.. Then there is a section break, and numbering begins 1,2,3,4,5.

The problem is the table of authorities shows the cases, etc on the
"absolute" page, not the page # for that section.

So, the case may appear on the 20th piece of paper, but that 20th piece of
page has the page # 16 on it.. So in the table of authorities, it should show
16, not 20.

How can I fix this? Thanks!

You have to generate the Table of Authorities with the hidden formatting
characters turned Off. (CTRL+SHIFT+*) Otherwise, the TOA generates the page
number based on where the field code is located at the time.
