Hello,

I am trying to format a table of contents but am having a
difficult time with the field codes that is uses. Does
anyone know a decent reference for TOC specific field codes ?

Specifically, I am trying to add {numpages} to each entry
but can not figure out where this goes.

Keith, Word automatically generates a table of contents based primarily on
text that uses the Heading styles. Once you generate the table of contents,
you can change the appearance of the TOC by modifying the associated styles.
If you have additional text that doesn't use the Heading styles, you can
customize the TOC by selecting the additional styles. Please look up Table
of Contents in help.

Thanks for the help folks. I have actually looked on the mvps.org site
but I need a more indepth explaination. I specifically need to add the
total number of pages after each entry.

Any insight is greatly appreciated

There is no way to do that (and no real point to it that I can see, since it
is assumed that each topic continues till the next one starts).
