I have other indices created but i'm trying to create one with the State as
the heading. Im having difficulty because its not the first field--like
property
Property Name State
Zip Code
No. 341 SmithBldg Burlington NJ
3333
No. 342 JohnBldg East Gate Drive NJ
44444
I would like to have it like this
NJ
No. 341 SmithBldg Burlington
No. 342 JohnBldg East Gate Drive
PA
No. 100 Arlington Center
No. 105 Conerton Bldg
For an index, you would insert the state as the main index entry and the
remainder as the subentry. For more on indexes, see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Numbering/CreateIndex.htm and of course the
"Create an index" Help topic.

Can you show me how to do both--TOC or index?
Thanks

Is this an index or a TOC you're trying to generate. This would be fairly
easy for an index.
