Table of Contents Error Message

I have been working with a lot of e-books and they all have a TOC. One e-book is very stubborn and gives me a "Error! No table of contents entries found." message even though I am using the style guide (just like with the other e-books which have no problem). The book is completed and has H1, H2, etc. I verified the Options show TOC levels 1, 2, 3 with Outline selected. The knowledgebase has no solution

TIA

I get the feeling there is a corrupted file or something. I opened files I already did that have tables of contents and refreshed the table of contents -- here, I got "Error! Hyperlink reference not valid."

I didn't make any changes to my computer or Microsoft Office settings today when this started happening.

I finally came up with a simple solution and it worked. I exited out of Word and entered back in. Ta-da. Problem solved. I guess I worked out Word too hard today

Thanks for listening
