Table of Contents headings on the same line?

Hello, I'm trying to make a table of contents with two headings on the same line. Is this possible? I'd like it to look like this in the end:

Lesson Title (heading 1)...........................5
Lesson Author (heading 2), Grade Level (heading 3)

I can figure out how to get headings 2 and 3 on separate lines without numbers associated with them, but can't figure out how to get them on the same line without putting them together on the same line.

I also have a mysterious space above my table of contents that I cannot remove. Any ideas why this paragraph won't go away?

Thanks!

No, the Table of Contents Generator cannot place two entries in the same
paragraph: it begins a new paragraph for each entry.

However, the paragraph mark at the end of each TOC entry has the same style
as the entry. So you CAN generate the TOC, then use Find/Replace to search
for just a paragraph mark in the TOC 2 style, and replace just the paragraph
mark with a space. Replace All...

If you do that, you will accomplish what you want. It would be a good idea
to turn the TOC into ordinary text before you do this, otherwise you will
lose your changes each time you re-generate it.

Use Control + Shift + F9 to change the TOC to normal text.

Unless I know how you are inserting the TOC, I can't really hazard a guess
as to the cause of the mysterious space above.

If you delete the whole TOC, does it go away?

If you use Insert>Fields>Index and Tables>TOC, is it still there?

Hope this helps
