Table of contents order

Dear friends,

Currently the table of contents looks to be ordered with the page numbers
and not based on the order of the headings. Is there a way to arrange TOC
headings in sorted order instead of their page numbers?

The table of contents lists headings in order of appearance. If
you want headings in alphabetical order, insert an index instead
of a table of contents.
