Using Word 2002, I've been asked to create sections in a document where the
intended subject heading is in line with the text of the section, and to have
a table of contents based on those subject headings. Using the Outlining
feature, I can't seem to separate the intended title from the text body; it
all shows up using the same outline level. If I try and set the title as a
Level 1 heading, the entire line is set at level 1. If I try and reset the
text to just be Body Text, the entire line reverts to Body Text. If I set
the title to a Level 1 or 2, the title and the entire first line show up in
the table of contents, which is not desired. Using the section break
continuous option doesn't seem to help.
Any help greatly appreciated.
